If you’re not into cyclocross and want to take part in HURTLAND weekend, or if you’re someone who is into CX and wants a ride the day before you race, or if you just like riding your bike, come on out for the gran fondo. Super chill, no signup, no major organization, but one great rest stop at Tulsa Botanic Garden! Who else is in?
The Garden Fondo is an open ride to all cyclists and it’s FREE. There will be two routes, the 42.5 miles Dubbel ride and the 22.7 miles Wittbier ride.
9:15 a.m. – Check-in at the gazebo at Owen Park
9:30 a.m. – Start route from Owen Park on Quanah Ave.
The Tulsa Botanic Garden is sponsoring the rest stop (see map in comments below) and it will be open until noon.
Upon return to Owen Park, there will be a kickoff shindig to Cyntergy Hurtland with food available from MASA food truck, music and refreshments. If you’re already registered for Cyntergy Hurtland, you can pick up your packet and pre-ride the CX course between noon and 5 p.m. onsite at Owen Park.
